Consent to GAP Connections Policies
By registering for Membership and a Grower ID with GAP Connections you acknowledge that you understand and accept GAP Connections' policies and that you freely consent to the practices described in the policies, including the Privacy Policy and Antitrust Compliance Policy.
Step 1: Registering for Grower ID
When growers register for a card they will be asked to provide the following information:
- First name
- Middle name
- Last name
- Suffix
- Phone Number
- Mailing address, City, State, Zip
- Farm Name
- Farm address, City, State, Zip
- County of primary farm operation
- Birthdate (MM/DD/YYYY)
- Type of tobacco, Acres of each
After growers fill out and submit the online form they will be assigned a grower ID number (multi-digit number). The Grower ID number and their password will allow a grower to log in at www.gapconnections.com to view their educational activity and profile.
Step 2: Getting the Grower ID card
Once the online registration form is completed a Grower ID Number will be immediately assigned to the grower. A temporary or permanent Grower ID card can be obtained in a variety of ways.
The grower ID card would include the grower’s full name, birthdate, grower ID number and a unique QR code that will be scanned at GAP educational/training events.
Option 1: Grower registers on a device that is connected to a printer.
A temporary card can be printed immediately that can be used at a training event until a permanent card can be obtained either in the mail.
Option 2: Grower registers on a device without access to a printer.
A grower can use their Grower ID number and password they created when registering to navigate to their grower profile page and print a temporary card when they become connected to a printer. A permanent card will be mailed to you within 3 weeks.
